A Strength-Focused Approach to Physical Therapy.
Helping active adults in Central Oregon stay in the gym, on the trails, and continuing to play their sport without letting injuries slow them down.
We go after what's actually driving it, not just the symptoms.
Progressive programming that builds real capacity.
A body that holds up under the demands of your life.
You Train Hard.
You're Still Stuck.
You show up consistently. You've tried the classes, the YouTube rehab, maybe even a round of traditional PT.
And you're still stuck. Still modifying. Still babying that shoulder. Still wondering if your back is ever going to let you deadlift the way you want to.
Generic programs don't fix specific problems. Telling someone to "just rest" has never made anyone stronger.
You're just missing a plan.

The Process
Four phases. A clear roadmap. No guesswork.
A 60-minute 1:1 assessment, in-person or virtual. We go deep: what's going on, what your body is doing, and exactly what needs to change. You leave with a clear diagnosis, a clear prognosis, and a clear game plan. No guesswork. No vague advice. Just a roadmap.
Your PT and coach builds a program built specifically for you, delivered in-person and through the app. The right movements, the right progressions, and the lifestyle adjustments that actually move the needle. This isn't a template. It's yours.
Ongoing messaging and accountability from yours truly. Built-in habit and exercise tracking to make sure we get you to your goals, not just in sessions but every day in between.
We walk you through the why behind your pain, your training, and your progress. The aim is to get you out of pain and keep you out.
I couldn't lift a barbell a month ago. With Steven's help I was able to be confident lifting again and even hit a new deadlift PR.
Real People. Real Training. Real Results.
From back surgery survivors to powerlifters to Highland Games athletes. This is what working together actually looks like.
Steven helped me with a recurring back injury and was able to provide guidance, support, and information to help me recover. I went from being afraid to lift weights again to having confidence and breaking personal bests by 20+ lbs in only a few months.
I am 100% pain free now and back to normal activities. One thing I loved most about Steven's approach: he focuses on athletes and people who enjoy being in the gym. No other physical therapist I've seen had done that before.
Ever since my back surgery, I struggled to load my squat and deadlift. Steven helped me adjust my form and my load. Now I am stronger than I've ever been and don't have back pain with heavy lifts anymore.
Within a couple weeks I was able to sleep on that shoulder and lift without pain. I would highly recommend working with Steven, especially if you've ever been told you'd have to give up lifting for your injury to heal.
I came to him just weeks before a powerlifting meet with shoulder trouble and nerve pain. He helped me navigate through it so I could still compete, with less pain. As an athlete himself, he understands the challenges and deadlines of competition.
Steve holds me accountable, keeps me on track with my goals, encourages me during setbacks, and communicates regularly so I stay the course. I've seen huge improvements in a short amount of time. I feel privileged to be his client.

Before You Book.
No. Oregon is a direct-access state, so you can work with me without a referral from your physician. Cash-pay means no insurance gatekeeping, no pre-authorization, and no session limits.
Most PT is passive and time-limited. You get treatment until your insurance runs out, then you're on your own. Hybrid PT is built around progressive strength work from day one, with support the entire 12 weeks, both in-person and through the app. The goal is a body that holds up long-term, not just short-term pain relief.
No. That's the point of hybrid. You choose based on how much in-person contact makes sense for you, from fully remote to weekly sessions. Most clients come in 3 to 6 times over 12 weeks.
You don't need to be. "Recreational athlete" means you like to train, hike, ski, run, or move, and you want to keep doing it. Whether you're a weekend lifter or someone who just wants to get back to the gym without pain, this model works.
No. Cash-pay only. This keeps sessions 60 minutes and fully 1:1, with no billing codes dictating your treatment. Most HSA and FSA accounts cover physical therapy. Check with your plan administrator.
You have options. Some clients graduate with everything they need to train independently. Others continue with ongoing coaching or periodic check-ins. We figure out the right next step before week 12 ends, not after.
