Physical Therapy
From Anywhere.
You shouldn't have to live near a great PT to work with one. Whether you're outside Central Oregon, traveling, or just need flexibility — remote PT delivers the same clinical depth as in-person care, from wherever you are.
Not a YouTube Video.
Actual Physical Therapy.
Remote PT isn't a generic exercise handout delivered over Zoom. It's a full clinical evaluation, a real diagnosis, and a progressive program built specifically for you — all conducted via video. The assessment tools are different, but the clinical rigor is the same.
You get a Doctor of Physical Therapy watching you move in real time, asking the right questions, identifying why something keeps hurting, and building a plan that addresses the actual problem. The screen is the only thing that changes.
Full Clinical Evaluation
A thorough video assessment covering your history, movement patterns, strength, and the specifics of what's been going on. Same depth as in-person.
Clear Diagnosis & Plan
You'll leave the first session knowing what's actually wrong, why it keeps happening, and exactly what the plan is to fix it. No mystery.
Progressive Programming
A custom home exercise program delivered through a coaching app — with video demos, sets, reps, and coaching notes. Progressed week by week based on how you're responding.
Ongoing Coach Access
Direct messaging between sessions. When something changes, flares up, or feels off, you don't wait for the next appointment to get an answer.
Great PT Shouldn't Depend on Your Zip Code
Remote PT works well for a wide range of situations — not just clients who live far away.
Clients Outside Central Oregon
You've heard about this practice and want the same level of care without living in Bend. Remote PT makes that possible. If you're in Oregon, we're good to go. Check licensing if you're out of state.
- Oregon residents anywhere in the state
- Athletes who travel frequently
- People relocating to or from Bend
Bend-Area Clients Who Want Options
Already working with us in person? Remote sessions fit between in-clinic visits — check-ins, progress reviews, and ongoing programming don't always require a commute.
- Follow-up sessions after initial in-person eval
- Busy schedules that can't make clinic hours
- Maintenance and long-term check-ins
Active Adults Managing Training Pain
If your main issue shows up under a barbell, on a trail, or on the mountain — you can replicate that context at home or in your gym on camera. Movement-based issues often translate very well to remote assessment.
- Pain with specific lifts or movements
- Recurring seasonal issues
- Training load management and injury prevention
Post-PT Maintenance & Monitoring
Finished a formal PT course and want to stay connected without full clinic visits? Remote check-ins keep progress on track and catch problems before they turn into setbacks.
- Post-discharge program progressions
- Return-to-sport monitoring
- Long-term strength and durability support
Everything You Need. Nothing You Don't.
Remote PT is built around one thing: clinical outcomes. Every element of the program serves that goal.
Initial Video Evaluation
A 60-minute comprehensive assessment via video call. We go through your full history, watch you move, run through relevant tests, and build your clinical picture from the ground up.
Custom Home Exercise Program
A program built for your diagnosis, your goals, and the equipment you have at home. Delivered through a coaching app with video demos, sets, reps, tempo, and coaching notes for every exercise.
Video Follow-Up Sessions
Regular check-in calls to review progress, watch you move, troubleshoot anything that's not responding as expected, and progress the program. Frequency depends on where you are in the process.
Direct Message Access
Between sessions, you can message directly. Questions about an exercise, a symptom change, whether to push through something or back off — you get a real answer from your PT, not a chatbot or a receptionist.
Movement Video Review
Send video of your lifts, movements, or activities for asynchronous technique and mechanics review. Ideal for catching compensations or patterns that might not show up in a 60-minute call.
Clear Discharge Criteria
We set measurable goals from the start and work toward them with intention. You won't be on an indefinite schedule — the endpoint is defined and we work toward it deliberately.

Frequently Asked
Honest answers about what remote PT can and can't do.
Is remote PT as effective as in-person?
For many conditions, yes — especially pain with specific movements, strength-based issues, and ongoing management. The research on telehealth PT supports it as a legitimate and effective format for musculoskeletal care. Where remote PT has real limitations is with hands-on treatment: manual therapy, joint mobilization, soft tissue work. If your condition genuinely requires that, we'll tell you directly. For the right presentation, remote is not a compromise — it's just a different delivery format for the same clinical work.
What technology do I need?
A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a working camera and a stable internet connection. That's it. We use video platforms that don't require downloads. For movement assessments, being able to prop your phone up so I can see you from the side or front is helpful — most clients figure this out in about 30 seconds. A small amount of floor space and your normal workout clothes are all you need for the session itself.
What conditions work well with remote PT?
Most musculoskeletal issues — low back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, hip issues, tendinopathy, nerve pain, and post-surgical rehab (after the acute phase). Movement-related conditions that show up during activity — pain with lifting, running, hiking, skiing — translate especially well because we can watch you recreate the movement that's causing the problem. If your issue genuinely requires hands-on assessment to diagnose, we'll tell you that clearly rather than guessing over video.
Are you licensed to treat me if I'm outside Oregon?
PT licensure is state-specific. We can treat Oregon residents remotely without restriction. For clients in other states, it depends on the specific state's telehealth reciprocity rules — some states allow it, some don't. Reach out directly and we'll give you a straight answer for your state rather than a general disclaimer. In many cases there's a path forward.
How is this different from just watching exercise videos online?
A YouTube video doesn't know your history, hasn't watched you move, doesn't know which movement is causing your pain, can't see the compensation pattern you've developed over three years, and doesn't adjust when what you're doing isn't working. Remote PT is a clinical relationship with a licensed provider who is building a program specifically for you and watching it evolve in real time. The format is online. The care is not generic.
Can I combine remote PT with in-person sessions?
Yes — this is a common and effective setup. An in-person evaluation gives us the most complete picture, and then follow-up, progression, and ongoing management happen remotely. Or a primarily remote program with occasional in-person sessions for hands-on work when it's warranted. The format follows the clinical need, not a rigid structure.
