How often do we meet in person?
It depends on your goals and schedule — most clients meet in person 2–4 times per month. We figure out what works best for you during the discovery call and adjust from there.
Do I need my own gym membership?
Yes — you'll need access to a gym with barbells, dumbbells, and a squat rack for most programs. I'll build your program around whatever equipment you have available, so let me know your setup during our call.
What if I'm a complete beginner?
Beginners are welcome and honestly a great fit for coaching — you'll build great habits from the start instead of spending years undoing bad ones. We'll start where you are and build progressively.
How is this different from just hiring a personal trainer?
Most personal trainers write the workout the day of and supervise you in the gym. Hybrid coaching is a full system — periodized programming, ongoing communication, video review, and a coach who tracks your progress over months and years, not just the hour you're in front of them. And my background as a Doctor of PT means your training is always built with your long-term health in mind.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on the level of support and frequency of in-person sessions. We'll go over all of that on the discovery call so there are no surprises. No commitment required until you're ready.
I also have some nagging pain — can you help with that too?
Yes — this is where having a PT as your coach is a real advantage. Many of my coaching clients also receive physical therapy as part of their program. We address pain and dysfunction while keeping you training. You don't have to choose between getting healthy and getting strong.
