Online + In-Person Powerlifting Coaching for Serious Lifters

Whether you're chasing your first meet or your next total PR, you need a coach who understands the sport, writes smart programming, and keeps you healthy enough to actually compete. That's what we do.

Meet-Specific Programming

Periodized programming built backward from your competition date. Every training block has a purpose — so you peak when it counts.

Technique That Holds Under Load

Technical coaching that translates to the platform. We dial in your squat, bench, and deadlift so the mechanics hold when the bar is heavy and the pressure is on.

PT-Backed Strength Training

As a Doctor of PT and CSCS, I bridge the gap between rehab and performance. Push hard, stay healthy, and never wonder if something is going to derail your prep.

More Than a Spreadsheet

Coaching That Actually Knows the Sport

Online programs are everywhere. What they can't give you is a coach who watches you move, adjusts when something's off, and thinks about your long-term development — not just the next training cycle.

You get periodized programming, technique review, competition strategy, and direct access to a coach with a background in both strength sports and physical therapy. Train smart, compete healthy, and keep getting stronger year after year.

What Clients Are Saying

Lifters who stopped guessing and started competing at their best.

" Within a couple weeks I was able to sleep on that shoulder and lift without pain. I would highly recommend working with Steven — especially if you've ever been told you'd have to give up lifting for your injury to heal.

Brandie Powerlifter ★★★★★
" I came to him just weeks before a powerlifting meet with shoulder trouble and nerve pain. He helped me navigate through it so I could still compete — with less pain. As an athlete himself, he understands the challenges and deadlines of competition.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

Everything you want to know before getting started.

Do I need to compete to work with you? +

No — many clients aren't competing, they just want serious strength programming with a knowledgeable coach behind it. But if you do want to compete, meet prep is something we do very well.

What federations do you have experience with? +

We work with lifters across raw and equipped federations. Whether you're lifting in the USPA, USAPL, RPS, or stepping on the platform for the first time, we'll dial in the rules, equipment, and expectations for your specific federation.

How far out from a meet should I start? +

Ideally 16–24 weeks gives us enough time to build a complete prep cycle. That said, we've helped lifters get ready with less runway. We'll be honest about what's realistic given your timeline and come up with the best plan for where you are.

Do I need my own gym membership? +

Yes — you'll need access to a barbell, squat rack, and bench press. We'll build your program around whatever equipment you have available. If you're in Central Oregon, we can work through your current gym setup during the onboarding call.

How is this different from just running a Juggernaut or Sheiko program? +

Pre-written programs are designed for a hypothetical lifter — not you. Your leverages, technique, weak points, recovery, and schedule are all unique. A coach who watches you move, adjusts as you go, and actually knows your history makes a real difference over months and years of training.

I have a nagging injury — can you still help? +

Yes — and this is where having a PT as your coach is a major advantage. We address the injury within the training context rather than telling you to stop lifting. Many clients receive a combination of coaching and physical therapy. You don't have to choose between getting healthy and getting strong.
